ARCHIVER could not miss the opportunity to officially launch its Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) tender at the EOSC Symposium. The Project will contribute to the session dedicated to “Service Onboarding”, chaired by Juan Bicarregui, EOSC Rules of Participation WG , on 26th November during the Breakout 2.
During the workshop, Archiver has been presented to CS3 stimulating audience by the project coordinator João Fernandes from CERN.
During the Open Data Ecosystem and CS3 conference, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 27-29 January 2020, João Fernandes, CERN and coordinator of the ARCHIVER project, presented the explored the use-cases driving ARCHIVER.
The first information session provided information about the ARCHIVER Project, the PCP concept, this Request for Tenders and the process for submitting Tenders.
The second and last online information session foreseen to provide information about the ARCHIVER Project, the PCP concept, this Request for Tenders and the process for submitting Tenders is scheduled on 18 March 2020 starting at 10.00 am (Geneva time).
On 29 January 2020 ARCHIVER launched its Request for Tender with the purpose to award several Framework Agreements and work orders for the provision of R&D for hybrid end-to-end archival and preservation services that meet the innovation challenges of European Research communities, in the context of the European Open Science Cloud. On Monday 8 June the selected consortia for the ARCHIVER design phase have been announced during a Public Award Ceremony starting at 14.00 CEST.
