Some public sector and not-for-profit organisations already expressed an interest in the services resulting from the ARCHIVER project in order to solve the need for innovative digital archiving and preservation solutions within specific use cases at their organizations.

The Early Adopters have the unique opportunity to access and test the services already from the pilot phase, contributing to shape the R&D carried out in the project and to disseminate the resulting solutions to new domains and fields of application.

Real Time Dissemination of NWP Open Data

ECMWF aims at providing a subset of their on-site tape archive containing near real-time open forecast data using high-bandwidth transfers to make the data available as soon as possible after being generated. In addition ECMWF also aims at retaining the data for research as long-term storage on ArchiveR / EOSC

Archival and accessibility of omics data

The IEO is dealing with an increasing amount of omics data generated in its laboratories or by external collaborators.
