This week EOSC projects are joining forces to give us a 360-degree view of EOSC for providers from 26-28 April. The Provider Days offer a crash course on what can be made available through the EOSC portal and marketplace and how this can be done. They showcase how providers can benefit from onboarding your research resources, tools and services. EOSC experts present which tools and support for providers are already available and what features will be launched in the coming months.
ARCHIVER suppliers Arkivum and Libnova, together with their consortium partners, have been selected to continue with the pilot phase of the ARCHIVER Pre-commercial procurement tender to deliver research ready solutions for long-term data preservation of research data in the current European Open Science panorama. They are joining the session today dedicated to Commercial providers, providing insights on the benefits for a commercial supplier to become an EOSC provider and sharing common issues experienced in the onboarding process.
The solutions developed by the two consortia are now in their pilot phase and have been submitted as Key Exploitable Resutls to the Horizon Results Portal. They are in the process of being published as services available on the EOSC Marketplace, thus opening the possibility to other users to exploit the long-term data preservation solutions developed in the framework of ARCHIVER PCP.
LABDRIVE is a Research Data Management and Digital Preservation platform that focuses on scientific datasets. The solution is developed by a consortium lead by LIBNOVA, awarded in the framework of the ARCHIVER Pre-Commercial Procurement tender to design, prototype and pilot a solution for long-term data preservation. LABDRIVE allows organizations to transition from a siloed approach in which each series of datasets, departments or units are using multiple, disaggregated systems to keep content to a single repository that can adapt to the particularities of each dataset, unifying all content in a single platform. The platform works for organizations with a few gigabytes of data, to organizations managing several petabytes. Digital preservation principles always present: Data protection comes first. Fully aligned with OAIS, ISO16363, redundant checks and safe processes.

Arkivum is an innovative new SaaS solution for archiving, preserving and accessing vast and hugely valuable scientific datasets from disciplines that include astronomy, particle physics, genomics and more. The solution is developed by a consortium lead by Arkivum, awarded in the framework of the ARCHIVER Pre-Commercial Procurement tender to design, prototype and pilot a solution for long-term data preservation.
The solution has been purpose built to archive and preserve up to petabyte scale datasets in the most cost-effective and environmentally stable way
