ARCHIVER finalist at Digital Preservation Awards 2022

09 June 2022

ARCHIVER has been announced finalist at the Digital Preservation Awards 2022, the most prominent celebration of achievement for those people and organisations who have made significant contributions towards a sustainable future for our digital assets.  The Digital Preservation Awards are a world-wide celebration of significant and state-of-the-art contributions to securing our digital legacy and just one of the ways the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) helps to raise awareness of the strategic, cultural, and technological issues which make up the digital preservation challenge.

Organised every two years, finalists for this year awards have been announced on Thursday 9th of June.

ARCHIVER was announced finalist for the Award for Collaboration and Cooperation, which celebrates significant collaboration across institutional, professional, sectoral and geographical boundaries which have had a demonstrable and positive impact on digital preservation.

Before the judges decide on the winners, members of the Digital Preservation Coalition will be invited to cast their vote on each category. Members will be asked to select their first and second choices for each category and are asked to provide feedback to the finalists. Each Full Member, Associate and Allied Organisation of the DPC may submit one vote. Voting will be open until 4th July.

Winners, who receive a trophy, certificates and a £1000 cash prize, will be announced at the iPres 2022 conference in Glasgow, on Monday 12th September.
